"It's a joy to teach others mindfulness. I never really knew what I wanted to do but I do now......"
(Feedback from one of our MBCT Trainer course participants.)
Having completed your MBCT course, we can offer you the option to train to teach adults. You can also expand your practice and perhaps teach stress reduction techniques in the workplace. We also offer training in Mindfulness in Education.
"Accreditation equips you to run MBCT programmes in various work contexts. If you wish to run MBCT with clinical populations will need an appropriate professional clinical training and be appropriately insured"
Depending on your previous experience, completing the Trainer course may not in itself qualify you to teach in the ‘real world’ but takes you to a point where you have gained confidence in teaching your peers. Accreditation equips you to run MBCT programmes in various work contexts. If you wish to run MBCT with clinical populations will need an appropriate professional clinical training or be adequately equipped and be appropriately insured. We can help you make the most of your time by discussing future plans for continuing your training as we come to the end of the course. The aim of the 2 day course is to provide a solid platform for developing your teaching further (e.g. by co-teaching with more experienced teachers in your locality and/or teaching under supervision for example).
"Discover how simple and enjoyable teaching mindfulness can be when teaching is rooted in personal experience of mindfulness."
If you would like to train adults or children in Mindfulness, depending on the course you wish to teach, you will need to meet the entry criteria to ensure you meet worldwide standards.
